Annual Local File roll-forward
A controlled update process that distinguishes unchanged positions from facts, figures and judgments that require fresh review.
01
Do not treat last year as evidence
The prior Local File is a starting record, not proof that the current-year facts are unchanged. A reliable roll-forward identifies what has changed and documents why the prior analytical position remains suitable or must be revised.
02
Required change checks
- Entity structure, agreements and transaction flows.
- Key personnel, decision-making and risk control.
- Products, markets, customers and supply-chain conditions.
- Cost pools, allocation keys, tested-party results and segmentation.
- Benchmarking age, search strategy and comparability adjustments.
03
Decision record
Record the evidence reviewed, the changes identified and the effect on the TP position. Where no change is made, state the basis for retaining the prior method and conclusion.
